The Threads We Follow, I was seduced by the way curator Maya Brooks placed Ebony G. Patterson's monumental peacock coming toward me like the prow of a monumental dress.
Cinderella meets the Wicked Witch of the west, plastic meets glass, infinite variety meets endless repetition and tedious detail meets flat form. Wires draw up the train to reveal the whimsical horror, the final contradiction.
